The Rolling Stones are coming to the States. The legendary band has finally released dates for their “50 and Counting” North American tour. The first show will be in the West Coast, with stops in Los Angeles, Oakland, San Jose, Las Vegas and Anaheim. They’ll also be up in Toronto and Chicago.
The lineup for one of the world’s most prestigious music festivals — U.K.’s Glastonbury Festival — has finally announced its 2013 lineup. The headliners are none other than rock and roll legends, The Rolling Stones.
You’ve got to hand it to the Rolling Stones—for a band of guys who are all past retirement age, and who have been in the same band for 50 years, they’ve got a hell of a lot of energy (maybe it was all the dollar signs generated from ticket sales that kept ‘em going), as the band played a 23-song, two and a half hour 50th anniversary set this weekend in London’s O2 Arena.
For fans of The Rolling Stones, Christmas is coming early. The iconic band added a third show to their U.S. 50 and Counting tour. They will be performing at the newly built Barclays Center in Brooklyn on December 8, 2012.

In a surprise move, Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger is set to host and act as the musical guest on the May 19th season finale of Saturday Night Live. Why shocking? Well, he’s got nothing to shill—his SuperHeavy bandmates are not billed with him, so that’s out; most of the Rolling Stones 50th Anniversary celebrations are being pushed back to next year due to Keith Richards’ health; and Jagger hasn’t released a solo disc in years.
