The Swell Season are not breaking up but are going on a hiatus and we can’t help but think it’s odd (or perfect) timing considering the fact that a fan recently jumped to his death at one of their recent concerts.

There have been rumors that the duo would be breaking up since Hansard announced he was going back to work with his rock group, The Frames. However, according to Consequence of Sound, both Hansard and The Swell Season’s publicist denied the rumors. What they don’t deny is their guilt in how fans are reacting to the death at one of their concerts.
