Yorke announced it himself on Radiohead’s blog, Dead Air Space, and revealed the following:

Despite just releasing their album, Now We Can See, in April, Portland, Oregon-based indie-punk band, The Thermals, have already begun working on a new album. They’ve even gone as far setting a release date of September 7, 2010!
This news is fine by us since we were lucky enough to catch their performance at this summer’s FYF Fest. Rocking out in a swirl of dust and teenage moshing, this trio brings listeners infectious songs with a punk foundation while injecting healthy dose of pop into their sound as well. We previously announced that Daft Punk would be going on tour in support of the Tron Legacy soundtrack, but what internet geeks and music lovers found on message boards in the past month was a complete lie.

We at BeatCrave did not publish these dates and we’re glad we didn’t because they are fake! It turns out those dates were just a mere rumor, but don’t worry – Daft Punk WILL be going on tour soon.

For those of you who follow Grizzly Bear‘s Edward Droste on Twitter, you may have gotten worried after seeing a certain tweet. Grizzly Bear was unfortunately involved in a bus accident after a show in Munich Germany on November 14th.
According to Pitchfork, the band also posted a message on their website saying that their “bus and trailer were hit and rendered immovable. The trailer was wrecked and the bus engine split.” Accidents of any kind are scary, but this sounded especially worrisome.

Grizzly Bear is one of those bands that never fails to come up with crazy music videos as the majority of them are more like short films. The new video for the wonderful “Ready, Able” is no different. It’s directed by Allison Schulnik and is done in clay animation with colorful monsters that melt as one. It’s really is a trip. In other news, Grizzly Bear has extended their tour through the UK and Europe that will continue into the Spring of 2010.
Check out the video and tour dates below..

Andrew Bird has been known to sell out venues ever since people realized his layered samples of violin, mandolin, guitar and whistling was something cool for a guy to do all by himself.
However, the unconventional singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has decided to take his upcoming tour outside of the arenas and into more “sacred” spaces. This winter, Bird will be taking his heavenly sounds into… church!
