Spain World Cup 2010 The New Anthem Paul The Octopus Spain World Cup 2010: The New Anthem Paul The Octopus!

After a long match filled with melodramatic injuries on the field followed by yellow cards (and lack of a necessary red card), Spain triumphed at the World Cup 2010 as they beat out The Netherlands in the finals. The people’s thankfulness included their gratitude for the infamous octopus named Paul. Whether he may just be attracted to flags with stripes or not, Paul the Octopus has made 100% correct guesses for the 2010 World Cup and 86% overall in history according to which box he eats dinner from (which has a certain flag on it). Paul’s guess for Spain’s victory was correct and now Spain basically worships the giant squid.

World Cup Lets Macy Gray In On The Action With Beauty World Cup Lets Macy Gray In On The Action With Beauty

For the most part, we all remember Macy Gray for her one huge 1999 hit, “I Try.” You couldn’t walk into a grocery store or turn the radio on without hearing Gray coo words such as, “I try to say goodbye and I choke/I try to walk away and I stumble.” However, we didn’t hear much of her after that as her three following albums never spawned any tracks that even compared to the radio hit. We may have also dismissed the artist because she did some shameless plugging as she wore a dress with words (which resembled duct tape) promoting her upcoming album at the MTV Video Music Awards.
