Jessica Simpson may not be playing a major role in the pop music industry these day, but according to DimeWars, she’d still like to get involved in music another way: as a judge on Simon Cowell’s new TV show, “X-Factor.”

With Simon Cowell focusing his efforts on his new talent show “X-Factor“, popular music stars Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler have had to do their best filling in for him on “American Idol.” Whether or not they are doing a good job at it is up for debate, but Cowell seems to think J-Lo would make a strong judge; he asked her to ditch the “Idol” gig and come join the panel on his show.
Well, according to DimeWars, she turned down the offer, and Simon isn’t too pleased.
